Website chat

Put your agent on your website. Visitors open a small widget on your page and talk to the agent, chat with it by typing, or both.

Add the widget to your site

Turn on the web widget

Open the workflow, go to Settings, then Deployment, and select Web widget.

Set it up

Choose Configure web widget. In the dialog:

  • Switch the widget to Live.
  • Type: Widget draws a ready-made widget on your page. Build your own UI draws nothing, and you start and end a call from your own buttons with WoiseWidget.start() and WoiseWidget.end().
  • Visitors can: Talk, Chat, or Talk and chat.
  • Colour and Position: how the widget looks and which corner it sits in.
  • Text: the title, subtitle, button labels and chat text visitors see. Only the fields for the experience you picked are shown.
  • Websites: add the sites allowed to use the widget. Leave it empty to allow any website.

The preview beside the form is the real widget, so you see what visitors will see.

Copy the script

Choose Save, then Copy the script at the bottom of the dialog and paste it into your website's pages.

Back in Deployment, a line tells you whether the web widget is live and how many conversations it has started. To take the widget down, switch it to Off and save.

What visitors see

  • Talk: the visitor presses the call button and talks to the agent through their microphone.
  • Chat: the visitor types, and the agent replies in the chat window. Visitors can attach pictures (PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP), up to 5 MB each, 4 per message and 20 per conversation.

How the agent chats

The agent's chat behaviour is set in the workflow's Settings, under Chat. For example, Wait before replying (seconds), from 1 to 10 and 3 by default, has the agent wait after the visitor's last message, so several quick messages get one answer. See Chat for every chat setting.

Conversations it creates

Every widget conversation is a run in Agent Runs. Its Call type is Web widget, its Channel is Chat or Voice, and the contact shows as Website visitor. Opened, a run is titled Website chat or Website call. Filter by Type, then Web widget, to see only these.

Common questions

What is Woise?

Woise lets you build AI agents that answer and make phone calls and chat on your website. You lay out the conversation on a visual canvas, try it in your browser, then connect it to a phone number.

Do I need a phone number to start?

No. You can build and test an agent in the browser without one. When you are ready, connect a phone number and choose which agent answers it.

How does billing work?

You pay for the minutes your agents use, from your credit balance. There are no seat fees and no per-agent fees, so an agent that is not taking calls costs nothing.

Which languages can an agent speak?

Agents can listen and speak in more than 40 languages, including English, Spanish, Hindi, Tamil and Arabic. You pick the language and the voice for each agent.

Can an agent connect to my CRM or calendar?

Yes. An agent can look things up and make changes in 26 apps, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Calendar, Slack and WhatsApp, during the call. You connect each app once.

Do I need engineers to build an agent?

No. Everything is built in a visual editor, so you can create and change an agent without writing code. If your team prefers code, there is also a REST API and an MCP server.

What happens to call recordings and transcripts?

Every call keeps a transcript and its outcome, and audio is only recorded if you turn it on. Only people in your account can see your calls, and your account lives in the region you chose when you signed up.

What do I have to set up or run?

None. We run the speech, the language models, the recordings and the phone connections, and scale them with your call volume. There is nothing for you to set up or keep running.

How do I reach the team?

Email contact@woise.ai, call or WhatsApp +91 83412 34080, or use the form on our contact page. A person reads every message.
