Do-not-call list

Stop calling people who asked you not to. Your do-not-call list blocks outbound calls to the numbers on it, and people who ask not to be called on an outbound call are added for you.

Open Compliance in the menu. The Do-not-call list card shows how many numbers are blocked; Manage list opens the list.

How numbers get on the list

By themselves, from outbound calls. When someone on an outbound call asks not to be called, the agent checks once that they want you to stop calling. If they say yes, the agent says goodbye and the call ends. After every outbound call, Woise also checks the conversation for three things:

  • The person asked not to be called. The number is blocked.
  • It was a wrong number. The number is blocked from all calls.
  • The person said they are not interested. The number is blocked from marketing calls for 90 days.

An opt-out heard on a Marketing campaign blocks only marketing calls, so the same person can still get your Utility calls, such as reminders. An opt-out anywhere else blocks all calls. If the person said no when the agent asked whether to stop calling, that answer stands: the call does not count as a request to stop calling. A wrong number or a "not interested" can still add it.

Inbound calls never add a number to the list.

By you. Choose Add number, enter the Phone number with its country code (for example +919876543210), and add a Reason (optional). Outbound calls to it are blocked from then on.

Reading the list

Search by number, or show All, Heard on calls or Added by you. Each row shows:

  • Blocks: All calls or Marketing calls, with the date the block ends if it has one.
  • Why: for example, the person asked not to be called and said yes when the agent checked, or you added it with a reason.
  • Call: View call opens the call the number came from, with its campaign.
  • Date: when the number was added.

When a number was added because of a phrase, hover Why to see that phrase, taken from Woise's own list of phrases. Nothing else the person said is stored.

Removing a number

Click the bin icon on a row. Removing needs a reason: pick The contact asked us to call again or Added by mistake, or write your own, then choose Remove. The number can be called again. The reason is kept with who removed the number and when, in case there is a complaint.

Audit log

Edits to the list are recorded. The Audit log card on Compliance shows the latest changes, and View full log shows them all.

Where the list applies

Outbound calls to numbers on the list are blocked. Campaigns skip them, and callbacks to missed callers never ring them. A number blocked only from marketing calls can still get a call from a Utility campaign.

Common questions

What is Woise?

Woise lets you build AI agents that answer and make phone calls and chat on your website. You lay out the conversation on a visual canvas, try it in your browser, then connect it to a phone number.

Do I need a phone number to start?

No. You can build and test an agent in the browser without one. When you are ready, connect a phone number and choose which agent answers it.

How does billing work?

You pay for the minutes your agents use, from your credit balance. There are no seat fees and no per-agent fees, so an agent that is not taking calls costs nothing.

Which languages can an agent speak?

Agents can listen and speak in more than 40 languages, including English, Spanish, Hindi, Tamil and Arabic. You pick the language and the voice for each agent.

Can an agent connect to my CRM or calendar?

Yes. An agent can look things up and make changes in 26 apps, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Calendar, Slack and WhatsApp, during the call. You connect each app once.

Do I need engineers to build an agent?

No. Everything is built in a visual editor, so you can create and change an agent without writing code. If your team prefers code, there is also a REST API and an MCP server.

What happens to call recordings and transcripts?

Every call keeps a transcript and its outcome, and audio is only recorded if you turn it on. Only people in your account can see your calls, and your account lives in the region you chose when you signed up.

What do I have to set up or run?

None. We run the speech, the language models, the recordings and the phone connections, and scale them with your call volume. There is nothing for you to set up or keep running.

How do I reach the team?

Email contact@woise.ai, call or WhatsApp +91 83412 34080, or use the form on our contact page. A person reads every message.
