Remind people before they no-show

It calls ahead of the appointment, confirms or rebooks on the spot, and updates the calendar either way.

Incoming call

What this is for

A no-show costs the slot twice. The appointment does not happen and nobody else could have it. Text reminders work on the people who read texts and do nothing for the people who do not, and neither format gives anyone a way to say actually, could we do Thursday. That sentence is the one that turns a no-show into a rebooking.

What a reminder call does

  1. 01

    Calls ahead of the appointment

A day before, a week before, or both. The call is triggered by the booking rather than by somebody remembering to run a list.

  2. 02

Confirms or rebooks in the same call

Yes means confirmed and the call ends. No means it offers other live slots and moves the appointment there and then.

  3. 03

    Writes the change back

A rebooking updates the real calendar during the call, so the released slot is available to the next caller straight away.

  4. 04

Records the ones it could not reach

No answer, wrong number, cancelled with no rebooking. Each one is an outcome you can act on rather than a silent gap in tomorrow's diary.

Appointment reminders: common questions

How far ahead should it call?

Whatever suits your cancellation policy. A common pattern is one call a few days out, while there is still time to fill a released slot, then a short confirmation the day before.

Can it rebook, or only remind?

It rebooks. It reads live availability during the call and writes the new appointment. That is the whole reason to call rather than text.

What if it reaches voicemail?

Your choice: leave a message, hang up and retry later, or fall back to a text. The attempt is recorded either way.

Does it update the calendar automatically?

Yes. Confirmations, moves and cancellations all get written back to the calendar the booking lives in.

Can it handle recurring appointments?

Each occurrence is its own booking, so each one can be reminded, confirmed or moved on its own.
